MY STORY
My Journey Started With Loss, But Found Purpose.
Hi, I'm the owner of Engine 12 Coffee — a firefighter and paramedic who has served since 2006.
My journey into this profession began with a profound loss. When my brother passed away at just 16 years old, I witnessed firsthand the compassion and bravery of the firefighters who responded. That moment planted a seed in me: I wanted to be the one who shows up for others in their darkest hours.
Becoming a firefighter and paramedic wasn't just a career choice — it was a calling born from love and a deep desire to help.

Engine 12 Coffee was created in my brother's honor. He lived life to the fullest in his short time here on earth and carried a powerful motto with him: "Success is never giving up." That spirit lives on through this business.
Just like the fire service, building a coffee company has tested my resilience. There are long days, unexpected challenges, and plenty of learning curves. But I approach every obstacle the same way I approach every call — with determination, heart, and a commitment to keep pushing forward.
